The Chicago Police Marine Corps League is a tax deductible 501(C)(3) veterans charity that was founded in 1983 by Marines and Navy Corpsmen who were mostly first responders. The mission of the CPMCL is to support veterans, military and first responders. Money raised by the CPMCL has allowed us to: provide direct support to wounded veterans/LE, donations to BraveHearts (equine therapy), Vet Service Dogs NFP (canine therapy), Road Home (outstanding mental health), SGB shots in partnership with Rags of Honor and Stella (a shot which resets the fight/flight/freeze mechanism), GFMs and other tragedy assistance, funeral assistance, the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, Our Corps, Brotherhood for the Fallen, VFWs, American Legions, the Chicago Marines Foundation, Nick Daniels Scholarship, shooting/fishing/hunting, Chicago Police Chaplains Ministry, send care packages to deployed troops, support youth initiatives with NJROTC and the Young Marines, and a host of other events/philanthropy for veterans and 1st responders. The CPMCL has donated over $83,600 in FY2022, $76,000 in FY2021, $64,000 in FY2020, $51,700 in FY 2019; $48,600 in FY 2018; and $43,500 in FY2017.
