Shooting Competition

Villa Park VFW 39 E St Charles, Villa Park:
Join us for our annual Wodnicki/Doyle CPMCL shooting competition at 1600 hours followed by our meeting at 1900 hours. $20 to shoot. The meeting, food, and some beverages are free. We will use a modified CPD SWAT qualification course at the range then move to the other side of the basement for a meeting and will then adjourn to the bar for beverages. Come out for some shooting practice & enjoy some great esprit de corps! Shooters & sponsors wanted!!
Run to Remember 5k

Run to Remember 5k.
Join us for a 5k where we support the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation to assist officers and their families who have been killed/injured in the line of duty. This is a great event and we place a large team every year. Meet by Gate 14 near the street. Our team name is Police Marines and Patriots. Bring a Kenyan!! Runners wanted!!

May Service
May 17th, 0530 hours
Vets 1st 20 Mile March, American Legion 4355 N Western:
Our team will meet at the Legion at 0530hrs, bus up to Tower Rd just east of I-94 on the bike trail. There we will hold a short service then march 20 miles back to the Legion. Our course walks on the bike path. We’ll stop at the American Legion at 6144 W Dempster at the halfway point for some food/beverages, then continue. The bike path lets out on Foster Ave near Kostner. We’ll then walk through past parks & colleges til we arrive where we started. 18.5 miles are thorough the forest preserves, parks, or colleges. The entry fee is $75 per marcher plus any additional donation you’d like to make (feel free to collect from people to sponsor your endeavors). There is no overhead from the marchers so all donations made by marchers will be dispersed to Rags of Honor ($25 per shirt), Stella Wellness procedures, Connor Lowry Foundation, and Vet Service Dogs NFP. Sponsors, volunteers, and marchers wanted.
Chicago Memorial Day Parade
May 25th, Saturday, Noon
Chicago Memorial Day Parade, State/Wacker:
Please join us to march in Chicago’s annual Memorial Day Parade. It is one of the largest in the country. It’s attended by Veterans’ groups, high school marching bands, ROTC, etc. This parade is a great way to take some time to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while also showing some Patriotism and instilling pride in our next generations.

The Boatyard 42125 N 4th, Antioch, IL on Lake Marie:
Join us for our annual fishing trip on the Chain of Lakes. Boats can get on the water at 0530hrs. At 1130hrs, boats come in for weigh in and taping. We give plaques and gift cards for the biggest, longest, scrub, and youth winners. It’s a great day to be out on the water in Murica! After the weigh ins, we fish, eat, drink, and share a great day of camaraderie. You can launch a boat, rent a boat or shore fish. This is a great family event.
Annual Tactical Shoot
July 13th, 0900hrs
The Site 11311 S Skunk Hollow, Mt Carroll, IL:
Pete Milionis will be conducting our annual tactical training again this year. Pete is a nationally recognized shooter. The day will consist of a half day of pistol and a half day of rifle. Friday and Saturday night are available for sleeping. Contact the Site directly for sleeping at www.blackbealodgenorth.com. We will hold a 0830hrs brief with the training starting at 0900.
