Thank you to everyone who attended our Vets 1^st 20k. We boarded buses at the Tattler Post, drove down to 31^st/Lake Shore Dr, held a short ceremony, and walked back. This was our largest ever with 154 participants (prior 133) and the most money raised $24,700 (prior $24,000). We donated to Tunnels to Towers, Rags of Honor, Chicago Police Chaplains, Vet Service Dogs, Road Home, Conner T Lowry, Tattler American Legion and the Young Marines. We also purchased an SGB shot and have enough for 5 more. Big shout out to Colleen Foster and her crew. Thank you, Tony Taglia, Elizabeth and Margaret Gisch, for the food. Also, thank you to our awesome volunteers Jim Hanrahan, Jim Roussell, Gy A, Edgar Martinez, Lenny Jakubiak, and Ed Pagan.
